We offer:
Intimate, on-camera classes
The classes and workshops that we offer are small and intimate (topping out at 10 students per class session) and are always on camera (unless otherwise noted). They are held in a supportive yet constructive atmosphere where every actor gets to work for a generous amount of time on-camera with the casting director/teacher while the rest of the class watches and learns.
Result oriented events
In addition to 4 week classes, we also offer one night events where actors get to meet and audition for 10 top industry professionals at a time for way less than other companies. These events serve as launching pads that have helped many actors forge relationships and get to the next level in their careers. The industry gets a sense of each actor in the allotted time and decides where to go from there. The industry needs no more than a short time to intuitively get a sense of an actor's type, work and level of experience. Many actors have signed with agents and/or managers, gotten calls from casting directors, booked jobs and furthered their relationships with NYC's industry. Check out the testimonials!
Friends/colleagues vrs Guests
All of the guest casting directors, agents and managers are colleagues/friends vrs just guests. We work with the biggest names in the industry who enthusiastically come to our events at the drop of a hat.
Only the biggest names, never assistants
When attending a Green Room event, one will never meet and work with an assistant. The guests will always be a bonafide casting director, agent or manager.
*No monologues, not ever
Our events are not your typical "meet and greets" which usually take place in a room with a table and an actor doing a monologue. At Green Room events, actors always get to audition with current film/television scenes, commercial and/or VoiceOver copy (for commercial and VoiceOver events). A vast selection is posted by us for actors to download and choose from.
