February 4 Week Film/TV Class with Jennifer Rudolph (NY CD for "Transformers", "GI Joe") & Katja Blichfeld from NBC (Casting Associate for "30 Rock" and more)

***SPECIAL CLASS***FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, KATJA BLICHFELD FROM NBC TEACHES ALL 4 WEEKS WITH JEN!!!

"As a casting director, it's great for me to come in and see actors who are so "in shape" so to speak. I always know that the actors I'll be meeting in Jen's class have already been schooled on what to expect in an audition, for instance. Her expertise in the casting industry has afforded her valuable insight: she knows how to guide actors in making real choices with the material they're given. And not just choices, but ones that are appropriate for television or film, which is what I am always casting for. It's great for me to come to her class and meet people who are ready to walk on to a set." - Katja Blichfeld

The art of auditioning for film/tv is not taught in colleges or universities or training programs. It is essential to learn what is
required of you when auditioning for film/tv projects and to be at the top of your game as competition and expectations are very high. Who better than to work with than the ones who know what it takes? Casting directors. It is also essential to forge relationships as casting directors mostly lean towards calling in actors who they already know and have worked with in an audition or audition-like setting. This is because time is often of the essence when casting for a particular project begins, and since most actors do not know how to audition for film/tv, there is little time to waste. This class give actors the opportunity to work on camera with myself and Katja Blichfeld from NBC for 4 weeks, receive valuable individualized coaching and feedback, and learn what it takes to land all types of roles. The class is set in an intimate, comfortable, audition-like setting which benefits the entire class as everyone gets to watch and learn from one another. Don't miss out!

Over the course of 4 weeks, you will learn:
to demystify and decode the casting process
to think like a casting director and learn what it is that we look for
what makes a good headshot/resume/cover letter (and just how important they are)
how to handle the submission process
how to prepare for an audition effectively using 5 key elements
to nail dramatic & comedic material
the art of auditioning for dayplayer roles
how to handle yourself in the audition room
all the "what not to do's"
how to break into the NY scene and more!

If you are not getting seen for auditions, getting callbacks and/or booking the job, this class is for you.
